One of the most revolutionary artists of the 20th century, Kahlo is known for her self-portraits which were representations of her own life and emotions. Her paintings explored several themes from her ancestry and heritage to her struggles with childlessness and feminity. 
I found this poster in a thrift shop in Waco, Tx rolled up. As soon as I seen it I knew that I wanted to give this poster a new life. Painted using acrylic ink, spray paint, markers, and finished with gold leaf and placed in a frame. Currently on display @ Rose City Modern Vintage in Tyler, Tx.
